Love Boat Governance 🛥️
As we develop our DEX to become a DAO, we’ve decided to start the implementation of community governance. We believe that to fully incorporate a decentralized ecosystem with full transparency, our community should be included in our decision-making.
This will allow our community to have greater control and participation in how our protocol is run through either voting on a proposal set by our team, or by creating proposals of their own for everyone to vote on.
Community members will have to delegate their LOVE tokens to their vote; the more LOVE tokens each member holds, the more voting power that member has. Decisions will be made based on the majority vote. Please note that voting does not take away any tokens you hold; tokens are simply used as a representation of your voting power.
Those members that do decide to vote and participate within our ecosystem will have their vote recorded in future snapshots. Who knows what rewards snapshot voting will give out in the future.
Through governance, we will hopefully see a stronger and more dedicated Love Boat community, growing together as a protocol and community side by side!
